Welome to the 2013 Progressive® Insurance Strictly Sail® Miami Boat Boat Show at Miamarina at Bayside.
It's the sailing event of the season! The fun begins Thursday (Trade Day) February 14th and will not end until the final bell sounds Monday, February 18th. This five-day event features the best of the best that the sailing industry has to offer. You'll find the latest and the greatest from boat builders across the globe. Come out to see, shop and test sail some of the newest sailboat designs, plus nearly 200 booths featuring sailing gear, accessories, and hardware from the industries top suppliers, along with the latest charter information.
The Progressive Insurance Strictly Sail Miami Show is a resource for learning and fun, something we call "Edutainment," with interactive seminars, both on land and on the water plaus DIY programs to enhance your sailing skills. Start with the Discover Boating Program putting you at the helm and providing opportunities for both new sailors and Old Salts to get out on the water and learn more about the joys of sailing. For the captain with a little more experience, there are advanced activities to help you hone your skills and become more confident at the helm. Or if you're not ready to get out on the water sit in on one of the many seminars hosted by Industry experts, world travelers and the legends of sailing. Many people don’t realize how easy and affordable sailing really is; at the Progressive Insurance Strictly Sail Miami Show you’ll see everything from entry-level day sailors, cruising sailboats to mega-cats. We are proud to be known as the Catamaran Capital of the world with the largest selection of catamarans of any show - but there’s really something for every taste and every budget. The Progressive Insurance Strictly Sail Miami features a selection of boats both in the water and on land and ranging in sizes from 6 to almost 100 feet, for sailors of every age, sailing ability, taste and budget, Strictly Sail truly has something for everyone!
Park at Bayside and walk through the mall or take advantage of the Park and Ride shuttle service available from the outer lots. Each Park and Ride lot offers continous service to all show sites in spacious air conditioned coach buses or take a water taxi from Sea Isle to Miamarina. Either way we'll get you there . The shuttles will run from 1 hour prior to show opening through 1 hour after show closing daily.
Sailing Seminar Series
Hone your skills and receive tips for enhancing your sailing experience through a daily series of free seminars (included with the purchase of a ticket) led by renowned experts. Seminars change frequently so be sure to monitor the schedule often.
Discover Boating Center puts you at the helm
Visitors can now experience the thrill of sailing under the supervision and direction of an experienced ASA certified captain through our Discover Sailing program, located on the floating dock at the end of Pier B at Miamarina. These 90 minute lessons will teach non-sailors to the pleasure and joy of the sport while remaining in a controlled environment. More experienced sailors should choose the course suited to their skill level.

Not Ready to get out on the Water?
New! Sailing Maker Sailing Simulator – Get a feel for the water on a virtual sailboat ride. Qualified instructors will offer you a chance to experience how a boat reacts to wind and waves and teach you how to use the tiller. Designed and built by a nuclear physicist, the simulator recreates the actual movement of a boat under sail. It’s a unique training platform for sailors of all abilities—whether you’re a new boater who wants to learn how to sail and or an experienced sailor who wants to practice under different sailing conditions.
One ticket good for all three sites. Shuttle buses and water taxis between sites included with paid admission.
