Welome to the Progressive^® Insurance Strictly Sail^® Miami Boat Boat Show at Miamarina at Bayside.

It's the sailing event of the season! The fun begins Thursday (Trade Day) February 16th and will not end until Monday, February 20th. This five-day event features the best that sailing industry has to offer. You'll find the latest and the greatest from builders across the globe. Come out to see, shop and test drive some of the newest sailboat designs from around the world, plus nearly 200 booths featuring sailing gear, accessories and hardware from the industries top suppliers along with the latest charter information.

The Progressive Insurance Strictly Sail Miami Show is a resource for learning and fun, something we call Edutainment, with interactive displays and DIY programs to enhance your sailing skills. Start at the Discover Sailing Program providing opportunities for new sailors to get out on the water and learn about sailing. For the captain with a little more experience, there are advanced activities to help you hone your skills and become more confident at the helm. Or if you're not ready to get out on the water sit in on one of the many seminars hosted by Industry experts, world travelers and the legends of sailing. Don't miss the opportunity to spend the day or spend the weekend talking to industry pros from around the Globe.

Many people don’t realize how easy and affordable sailing is; at the Progressive Insurance Strictly Sail Miami Show you’ll see everything from entry-level mono-hull day sailors to mega-cats. We are proud to be known as the catamaran capital of the world with the largest selection of catamarans of any show,—but there’s really something for every taste and every budget. The Progressive Insurance Strictly Sail Miami features a selection of boats both in the water and on land and ranging in sizes, for sailors of every ability, taste and budget. Strictly Sail has something for everyone!

Park at Bayside or take advantage of the Park and Ride shuttle service available from the American Airlines Arena. Offering continous service to all show sites in spacious air conditioned coach buses or a water taxi we'll get you there . The shuttles will run from 1 hour prior to show opening through 1 hour after show closing daily. The daily rate to park is $10.

Hone your skills and receive tips for enhancing your sailing experience through a daily series of free seminars led by renowned experts. Seminars change frequently so be sure to monitor the schedule often.

New for 2012!  Jimmy Cornell to make a rare US appearance at the 2012 Progressive^® Insurance Strictly Sail Miami Show. Jimmy Cornell will offer his Long Distance Cruising Master Class including Planning Your Dream Voyage Sat. Feb 18, 2012  (9am – 3pm)  $155.00 per person. The cost of the seminar includes 6 hours with Jimmy Cornell, one (2 day) ticket to the show and buffet lunch aboard the Biscayne Lady at Miamarina at Bayside.

Discover Sailing Center
Visitors of all ages can experience the thrill of sailing under the supervision of an experienced ASA certified captains at the Discover Sailing Center, located on a floating dock at the end of Pier B at Miamarina. These 90 minute lessons will introduce non-sailors to the pleasure and joy of the sport while remaining in a controlled environment. Advanced 3 1/2 hour courses are also available. Not Ready to get out on the Water?

New! Sailing Maker Sailing Simulator – Get a feel for the water on a virtual sailboat ride. Qualified instructors will offer you a chance to experience how a boat reacts to wind and waves and teach you how to use the tiller. Designed and built by a nuclear physicist, the simulator recreates the actual movement of a boat under sail. It’s a unique training platform for sailors of all abilities—whether you’re a new boater who wants to learn how to sail and or an experienced sailor who wants to practice under different sailing conditions.

Major Live Concert Event!
"Eric Stone Live" — Saturday night, February 18th during the seventh Annual Latitudes & Attitudes Miami Cruiser’s Bash. Enjoy the tropical sailing sounds of the Eric Stone Band live on stage with FREE pizza & beer! Latitudes & Attitudes TV will be on hand to record the concert for a one-hour special to air later. Everyone is invited! But you must be inside the show gate on Saturday night by 6:00pm or you won’t get in. So come early, enjoy the boat show and stay for the concert.

One ticket good for all three sites. Shuttle buses and water taxis between sites included with paid admission.
