Beneteau 50

An increasing demand for larger yachts has lead to the development of Beneteau's newest model, the Oceanis 50.  This large sailing yacht introduces the fifth generation of the Oceanis range. This gives the range a new appearance and brings a new design with practical and functional ideas. The Oceanis 50 features a sleek coachroof, long side windows, a fully-integrated mainsail arch and all the ergonomic ease of detailed design to make the most of every space. “It delivers a new interpretation of comfort and luxury under sail!” Said Bruno Belmont, Sailing Development Manager at Beneteau.

The mainsail arch and the fact that the control lines are all led back to the helm positions mean that the gently-inclined companionway is filled with light from above. The companionway opens into an enormous saloon with a galley that’s more like a full-sized kitchen.  Forward, the splendid owner’s cabin offers magnificent space and plenty of well-thought out storage. This sailing yacht with its clean lines offers an unequalled choice of layout versions for sailing as a couple or cruising with a big family (Family Versions). The design is luxurious and contemporary in the Oceanis 50 with woodwork in mahogany Alpi, LED lights, and stainless steel and leather reading lights.

The Oceanis 50, built in Marion, SC, will make its North American debut at the Miami Boat Show taking place February 11th-15th.
